Reset: Press Pause

Slow down, settle in and let your body release.

Press pause. Your body's earned it.

Not every class needs to leave you sweaty, challenged or chasing your next milestone. Sometimes, the best thing you can do for your practice is slow down. In Reset, you’ll spend more time in each posture with longer, supported holds, allowing you to settle deeper into each restorative shape.

The pace is slower. The movement is minimal. But your body is still doing plenty of work.

What happens in a Reset class?

Reset is all about creating space.

You’ll move through a series of seated and lying-down postures, settling into each one for several minutes at a time. Props such as blocks and straps help support your body, allowing you to stay in each position comfortably while gradually exploring your available range.

The longer holds give your muscles time to soften and release, rather than asking you to actively push further into a stretch. Throughout the class, breathwork is also woven into the practice.

As your body settles, you’ll have more space to notice your breathing, release built-up tension and shift your attention away from the constant bustle of everyday life in that hour.

Think less push and more let go.

What will you work on?

Reset focuses on giving your body the space to release and recover.

You’ll work on:

  • Flexibility by allowing tight areas time to gradually release.
  • Breath awareness through slower, more intentional breathing.
  • Body awareness by noticing where you’re holding tension and how that changes throughout class.

The goal is to create more awareness in your body and allowing areas to release.

Who is Reset for?

Everyone.

If you're new to yoga, Reset is a beginner-friendly way to experience the practice without needing to navigate complex sequences or demanding transitions at the start.

If you practise regularly, it can be a valuable counterbalance to stronger or more dynamic classes.

And if you've been feeling tight, tired or like your body needs a little more breathing room, Reset gives you permission to slow down.

You don't need to be flexible to take this class. You can arrive as you are, and we'll work through it together.

How often should I take Reset?

1-2 times/week

Ideal if you like to get some deep stretches to relieve your muscles after a long day. Good to pair with other class types to understand not only how your body moves, but also relaxes.

2-3 times/week

For those who lead a very active lifestyle and crave for more relief, 2-3 times can be ideal to ease soreness and get back into your workout routine quicker.
